The Breakfast Table That Started With Peonies
Blue and white transferware plates styled with fresh pink peonies, rattan chargers, a lit taper candle, and tangerines on a striped linen — breakfast tablescape flat lay.
I keep getting peonies from Trader Joe’s, and I’m not planning on stopping. The rest just followed.
That's how the best tables happen — one thing leads to another and suddenly there's bread, butter, candles, and nowhere you'd rather be on a weekend morning.
The plates are blue and white transferware — the kind that look like they came from an estate sale in the English countryside. Mine came from a bazaar, but these are very close.

The chargers are rattan — the same ones I keep coming back to. They make everything feel more intentional.
The tablecloth is a beige stripe — simple, washes beautifully, works with everything.
The candle holder is marble — small, heavy, the kind of object that earns its place on any table.
The butter dish is a little Chinoiserie Floral Spoon Rest that i use for everything except as a spoon rest. It is just that beautiful. and budget friendly!

The napkins are Pottery Barn — not Amazon but worth every penny! The little espresso cup is from HomeGoods. No link, just luck.
